Louisiana CAT Opportunity

08/30/2016

BCMG (Brown Catastrophe Management Group, LLC) has been afforded an opportunity to assist with flood recovery, and specifically the Louisiana Shelter at Home Program , https://shelterathome.la.gov/by helping to provide a number of qualified individuals who can perform initial inspections of residences of Louisiana homeowners seeking benefits under the program.  The inspections are expected to be very basic, will not require an estimate, and should be completed with a straightforward checklist that will be completed by the inspector.  No Louisiana adjuster license is required but some knowledge of general Xactimate pricing and construction principles is preferred.  It is estimated there could be as many of 20,000-30,000 homes needing inspected within this program.  Inspectors will be compensated at $50.00 per inspection and it is estimated that an inspector should be able to complete 15-20 inspections per day.

A training/orientation meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Baton Rouge, so parties interested in serving as inspectors under this program should immediately send a brief email with resume to: resume@brownclaims.com as time is running short to be included in this program.
